Another awesome March Madness Sale at Daz with lots of cool new releases from vendors. What are your personal favorites? Feel free to tell us in the comments section below.
My super favorite March Madness item has got to be Feathered Wings for All by 3D Universe. Many of my images are in the fantasy genre, so I am always on the lookout for wings of all kinds. In particular, I am interested in high-detail wings that have good pose controls. Feathered Wings for All fulfill both of these criteria with flying colors. I just can’t stop using them! I have also tried other shaders on it, including icy wings, and it works great!
March Madness also saw the release of some great characters by Fred and Sabby. As an added bonus, most of these characters are Daz Originals, so there were some great discounts! My top pick is FWSA Chastity, because I love that pale Goth look. FW Brianna also looks wonderful! Definitely used up my PC+ coupons super quick last month. 😀
Another cool highlight during the MM sale, were the fast grab items. If you buy any MM item and gain Bonus Buyer status, you get an additional 10% discount on *all items*. This includes fast grab items, which pushes the discount up to over 70%. I picked up a lot of fast grab items, including The NightQueen Wardrobe Collection by Arki, which I have been wanting for a long while now. One of the things that I love most about her outfit sets, is that they can be easily mixed and matched with each other and with other outfits. I also use the NightQueen Hair very frequently in my renders.

1st Place – Titania
Artist – Joe Webb
Wow! Stunning eye-catcher and amazing composition.
Great combination of Arki’s outfit and hair, textures from the Totally Bazaar Bundle, as well as the Aslan statues, to create a cohesive look with marvelous, intricate detail. I love how the girl looks like she is part human and part statue.
This effect is further accentuated by the eyes, pose, and geisha makeup. What a superb job!
I also love the golden sunset colors and awesome highlights provided by Body of Light. I just can’t stop looking at this brilliant image!
Menacing Occultist was another favorite with the judges. The drape and fit of the Warrior Monk outfit looks so fantastic here, that it quickly went into my wishlist. Also very clever magic effects using Ron’s Ink.
2nd Place – The Trespassers

A terrific sci-fi evil queen – like a Star Wars era Maleficent. 😀 As soon as I saw her, I started imagining all kinds of related fun stories and imagery. She could be handing out apples to Galactic princesses or dueling with light sabers.
The Qabbalah outfit is perfectly showcased here. I especially love how you combined it with the various tubes and components from the EXO suit.
Definitely hope to see more of this bad girl.
3rd Place – Caught Up in the Light

What a beautiful piece. Great soft lighting, pose, and cloth drape.
An incredible feature of FWSA’s Sparkle character, who looks super cute and angelic. Outstanding use of Ron’s Light and Shadows, which integrates marvelously with the scene lights. Finally, the use of gray-scale gives the piece a more vintage look that suits the composition very well.
An awesome piece that looks like a photograph. Love it very much.
3rd Place – Natural Baby Cradle

Simply fabulous!
3DUniverse’s Mythical Dragon looks absolutely adorable in repose and the scene is perfect. Fantastic combination of blues with the pink flowers and green lily-pads. The floating little candles add just the right warm highlights to this magical and peaceful scene.
Your art always evokes happy, positive, feelings. Keep on doing what you do.

Excellent outfit, lighting, and colors.
FWSA Chastity is wonderfully portrayed here, and that outfit is brilliant. Very cool kitbashing of items!
Love the blue and red lighting, which works very well for the urban sci-fi setting. Also great placement of lights to bring out the figures in the image, which is always a challenge for darker scenes.

Beautiful rim lighting and colors.
Fabulous feature of Mika 7 here. Her larger yellow eyes really stand out against the darker backdrop and contrasts well with her violet skin. Also terrific use of lights to bring out the outlines of her body, accentuating her form while maintaining the darker space environment.
If Demons Walked Among Us by Areyna
Such an awesome scene with so much happening.
First of all, amazing feature of FW Aran. He looks gorgeous and draws the viewer into the story right away. Cool “hidden” demons in the scene, especially the ones that show up on the reflection of the shop window.
The night colors are wonderful, especially when combined with warm lighting from the lamp. I also like all the detailed curiosities that can be seen through the building window. Everything sets up a perfect mood for the start of a very interesting tale indeed.
Unicorn Grove by reserv888
Wow! Fantastic scene with outstanding story-telling and use of light.
The viewer’s eyes are drawn to the unicorn right away, with the strong light beam shining from above. He looks proud, majestic, and pure, with that magical glow. At once we wonder if the hidden girl is friend or foe.
Love the realistic environment and use of Archaic Ruins at the back to further deepen the mystical feel.
