How wonderful it is to have 3D and animation to continue or love of art within the created universe; and the make believe one too.

Couldn't agree with your more. Thank you so very much for your beautiful words.

Thank you for a clear and precise instructional on DAZ issues.
I could have saved weeks of trial and error by having this available to me a year ago, but have only now found this valuable site.

As an intermediate artist and lifetime student of life objects; I truly respect your ability not only to visualize the feeling of life and portray it in art, but to articulate the DAZ process as well.

Learned some great things thanks to your site. Looks like the location for Background Colors has changed:

1) Main menu: Window > Style > Customize Style
2) Select "Viewports"
3) Use the color picker there to select new color.
3) click OK and Accept to save change.

There's also a checkbox for "Use Independent Viewport Colors" you can select. Turning that on lets you change the background colors of 5 different viewports independently.

There is some support for compatibility in DS. You can also buy clones to widen compatibility support.
Sickleyield has some of those -

https://www.daz3d.com/sy-victoria-4-and-michael-4-clones-for-genesis-8

valzheimer also has some -

There is more on Daz.

Thank you Robert. It has been a crazy week so apologies for the late reply. In terms of Render Settings, I didn't really change all that much. I think the key one that I changed is Rendering Converged Ratio - which I currently have set to 98%. Max Samples is currently at 12000, Max Time at 10800, and Rendering Quality is 2.0. I mostly remove noise in post.

Great article! Thank you. I don't know if you've covered this already or not but can you discuss rendering option. Or best rendering presets and the ones you use?
